6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Evacuation Procedures and Safety Precautions:

CAUTION: Spilled material may cause slippery surfaces. Ensure no product residues remain on floors, ladders, or other surfaces to avoid slip hazards.

Containment of Spill:

Dike the spill area to prevent runoff.

Cleanup and Disposal of Spill:

Pump any free-flowing liquid into a suitable closed container (see Section 7: Handling and Storage). Clean residual material by washing the area with water.

Environmental and Regulatory Reporting:

Do not flush spilled material into drains.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

Minimum/Maximum Storage Temperatures:

Not Available

Handling Precautions:

Avoid inhaling vapors and mists. Prevent direct or prolonged contact with skin and eyes.

Storage Requirements:

Store in tightly closed containers. Keep in a clean, well-ventilated area away from ignition sources and incompatible materials (see Section 10: Stability and Reactivity).

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

Introductory Remarks:

These recommendations provide general guidance for handling the product. Due to variations in work environments and handling practices, site-specific safety procedures should be developed for each intended application. Include equipment and piping cleaning protocols for maintenance and repairs, and handle resulting waste in accordance with Section 13: Disposal Considerations.

Equipment manufacturers can provide assistance with the selection, use, and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Exposure Guidelines:

No established exposure limits exist for this product or its ingredients.

Engineering Controls:

Where use conditions indicate a potential for excessive exposure, implement traditional engineering controls to minimize employee exposure.

Respiratory Protection:

Respiratory protection is not required for reasonably foreseeable industrial uses. If respirators are needed, select NIOSH/MSHA approved equipment based on actual or potential airborne concentrations, in compliance with applicable regulatory standards and industrial recommendations.

Eye/Face Protection:

Select ANSI Z87 approved eye and face protection appropriate for the specific work environment and handling practices. As a general safety measure, wear safety glasses with side shields when working in industrial settings.

Skin Protection:

Minimize skin contact by wearing chemical-resistant gloves and suitable long-sleeved clothing (e.g., shirts and pants). Consider both durability and permeation resistance when selecting PPE.

Work Practice Controls:

Maintain good personal hygiene as an important exposure control measure:

(1) Do not store, use, or consume food, beverages, tobacco products, or cosmetics in areas where this product is stored or handled.

(2) Thoroughly wash hands and face before eating, drinking, using tobacco, applying cosmetics, or using the toilet.
